How to Apply
To be eligible for the J-1 Teacher Exchange Program or the H-1B Work Visa Program, you must meet the specific teaching requirements, submit all required documentation, and complete the application process. Meeting these criteria is crucial for being considered for acceptance into either program.
QUALIFICATION CRITERIA
To be eligible, you must meet the following criteria:

Possess a valid teaching license in your country of origin

Have a minimum of two years of full-time teaching experience

Hold an Education degree that is equivalent to a U.S. Bachelor's Degree

Demonstrate sufficient proficiency in the English language
-
Currently employed on a full-time basis as a teacher in a classroom setting at the Kindergarten, Elementary or High School level.

FIRST STAGE OF APPLICATION PROCESS:

ELIGIBILITY SCREENING

To initiate the ELIGIBILITY SCREENING process, please provide the following REQUIRED documents to jasteachusallc@gmail.com
(1) A resume including a photo and complete dates of graduation and employment history
(2) Transcript of Records

(3) Current passport (biodata page) valid for at least one year
​
(4) A copy of your Teaching License
​
(5) College Diplomas​
To ensure a smooth application process, please submit the first five initial documents as PDF file attachments. Consolidate your multiple college diplomas into one PDF file and your transcript of records into another. The following documents cannot be accepted:
1. A passport with less than a year's validity
2. A PRC license with less than a year's validity
3. Non-teaching status in a K-12 classroom setting, less than two years of teaching experience, or if you have been exclusively teaching online.

WELCOME/PROGRAM INTRODUCTION

Once you have passed the initial screening process, you will be invited to attend our program introduction. During this orientation, you will be given more information on the next stage of your application process.
